Straws down and spoons up! Smoothie bowls are GENIUS! This trendy way of eating your favorite fruity drink is as easy as pouring your smoothie in a bowl. Of course, its more interesting if you add toppings too.
This smoothie recipe is one of my favorites. It has a sweet but powerful punch of citrus flavor that is sure to wake up the taste buds and get the brain gears turning. This baby is loaded with important nutrients thanks to the variety of fruits and vegetable juice. The toppings are really what makes this smoothie exciting for me. I love playing around with flavors and texture. Try adding a variety of crunchy, chewy, juicy toppings to your own version of this smoothie with bananas, granola, and dried pineapple.
Another great thing about this smoothie is it’s use of Turmeric root. If you haven’t used Turmeric before, now is a good time to start. Turmeric has a slightly bitter taste with notes of orange and ginger, it adds a brilliant golden color to any dish, and its an anti-inflammatory that helps with brain function and bloat.
